Hi, Welcome
to my Fantasy and Science Fiction Art Galleries.
My name is
Joe Kurz, born in 1961, and I live near Munich,
Germany. I am working as a software testing engineer.
Arts and
drawing were my favorite subjects at school time. At that
time I wrote science fiction and fantasy short
stories (but not too successfully). Many of my pictures
are telling themes of those stories. Thus I am working to build up a
framework around the pictures ...
I began
with computing, programming and computer generated
graphics about 1986 as a student.
My first
attempts I did with good old Paintbrush, later I moved to
Picture Publisher (which I still use for postwork). Four
years ago I discovered PovRay as a 3D modelling and
rendering tool. But those pictures were too static and
without human or animal characters.
